Developer tools should be easier to adopt.

I am Kevine Nzapdi, a developer and technical writer working at the intersection of developer education and developer experience. I build and test integrations, investigate implementation problems, and turn the results into tutorials, sample applications, and documentation developers can use.

01 / SELECTED WORK

Proof in the implementation.

Real implementation work, with links to published explanations and code where available. Each example shows the problem, my contribution, and what developers can take away.

02REACT · INTERNATIONALIZATION

React translation workflows that hold up in production

The challenge: translations often work in a demo but break down around plural forms, synchronization, and review.

I wrote a practical walkthrough of configuring React and i18next with Localazy, explaining the translation workflow and implementation decisions developers need to make.

03FLUTTER · HEADLESS CMS

A multilingual recipe app with Flutter and Strapi

The challenge: make multilingual content work across a Flutter interface and a headless CMS.

I created a step-by-step tutorial for a multilingual Flutter application backed by Strapi, connecting content modelling, API integration, and translated interfaces.

04HEADLESS CMS · GRAPHQL

Building with Strapi 5 and GraphQL

The challenge: connect a modern headless CMS to frontend applications while keeping content models and queries maintainable.

I use Strapi 5 and GraphQL for content modelling and frontend data access in an anime quiz application. This is project experience; the application repository is not currently public.

More than one framework, one platform, or one format.

Additional work includes Next.js localisation, Flutter integrations, SvelteKit, Webiny, Medusa, and technical tutorials for developer platforms.

02 / DOCUMENTATION & DEVELOPER EDUCATION

Help developers reach the first working result.

Documentation is strongest when the instructions have been tested against the product.

01 / QUICKSTARTS

Reduce setup friction

A structured onboarding sample covering prerequisites, installation, configuration, and a first working result.

02 / NEXT.JS INTEGRATION GUIDE

Localised routing, metadata and translation sync

A published Next.js App Router walkthrough using next-intl and Localazy: four locales, language switching, translated metadata, CLI configuration and common failure cases.

03 / FLUTTER IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE

Localising Flutter with ARB files

My published Flutter guide covers ARB message files, ICU plurals, placeholder protection, Localazy translation sync, and translation QA before code generation. It is separate from the Flutter and Strapi CMS application.

03 / DEVELOPER EXPERIENCE IN PRACTICE

From a broken workflow to a clearer path.

My process combines implementation, troubleshooting, and developer-facing explanation.

01 / EXPLORE

Follow the developer journey

Try the product as a new developer would: install it, configure it, and reach the first working result. Record unclear assumptions and missing steps.

02 / BUILD

Test the actual workflow

Reproduce problems in a real project, test the CLI or API behaviour, and verify fixes against runnable code.

03 / EXPLAIN

Make the next step obvious

Publish reproducible examples, clear setup steps, and troubleshooting guidance that reflects what actually worked.

04 / IMPROVE

Close the feedback loop

Feed recurring friction back into better examples and documentation, with concrete suggestions for improving onboarding.

04 / OPEN SOURCE & SHARING

Published work and public code.

My public work is easiest to assess through published tutorials and repositories. I focus on reproducible examples and practical guidance developers can use in their own projects.

Good developer content does not stop at explaining what a tool does. It helps someone make it work.

05 / ABOUT

An engineering background, a documentation mindset.

I am a Cameroon-based developer and technical writer with experience across frontend development, developer tools, localisation, SaaS, APIs, and headless CMS platforms.

I have worked with Localazy, Strapi, Webiny, Medusa, and Aviyel. My strongest work combines hands-on implementation with clear explanations that help developers make progress.
